Hi, I’m Coach Henry! I’m a Holistic Coach using somatics, mindfulness and movement to help people heal and grow. I'm a father and life-long bicyclist that loves travel, outdoor adventure, and dancing. I’m an artist who has been practicing improvisational movement for over a decade. I have years of experience with mindfulness – including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction – and am currently studying Somatic Experiencing. I’m excited to help people live more fulfilling lives as they recover from chronic pain.
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today, I am wise so I am changing myself.” – Rumi

My coaching style
I seek collaboration with clients, not just supporting them in the process of healing, but also asking questions to help evoke awareness and feel into where it is they want go. I offer relevant experiences and examples from my life and others', and am a huge believer in the power of listening to what our bodies are trying to tell us.

My Personal Story
I lived with chronic migraines as a child, so I know what it's like to live with recurring pain. I'm also the father of an amazing little boy who survived cancer and is still recovering from years of intense treatments and lingering medical trauma. I'm seeing first-hand and utilizing some of the same techniques we use here at Lin in helping him recover a sense of safety and agency in his body, to deal with anxiety, trauma, difficulty sleeping, sensitivity to pain, and more. I was already a believer, and now I know for sure that brain-body awareness and techniques are the future of pain management and beyond.
