Hi, I’m Coach Laura. I am a pelvic floor physical therapist, graduating from Chatham University. I have years of experience treating pelvic health conditions, specializing in chronic pelvic pain. I’ve always loved treating the whole person and felt limited with classic physical therapy models. This led me to expand my knowledge into the most up to date evidence on pain science, including a course where I was honored to meet Charlie Merrill and Dr Howard Schubiner. I find great passion in empowering patients on their road to recovery. It is an amazing opportunity to be a teammate, coach, cheerleader, friend, and expert to someone on their journey. When I am not working, I spend my time in the sunshine often surrounded by family. I also take every opportunity I can get to travel and experience the world.

My coaching style
I am optimistic and supportive. At times I use my physical therapy hat - Most of my expertise is in pelvic populations, so I have the ability to explain medical/ anatomical/ physiological within reason for these populations.

I signed up for Lin for a month. I was really skeptical but I’ve spent ore on stuff that hasn’t worked for my fibromyalgia. Not a day went by that I didn’t have at least a constant pain around a 3/10 on a good day with it going up to 6-7/10. Bad days would start at a 6-7. Fatigue would keep me in bed or dependent on caffeine. I have only scratched the surface of what Lin has to offer and last week, I spent 3 days walking around NYC, playing tour guide for my family. I was clocking at least 12k steps a day! I’m tired but happy I was able to be present with my family and not retreating to the hotel many times a day to try to get over the pain. I can’t wait to see what happens next. (Most of the time, my pain was from 0/10 to max 2/10)
I am grateful for Lin Health and all I have learned from one on one coaching and the tools provided in the app. My pain went from a 9-10 to a 1-2 in about 6 months. The tools have been life-changing and the new mindset is a growing work in progress. Give it a try, I can't say enough positive things about this experience.
Lin is providing such an important resource for people with chronic pain. It helped to give me hope again. My coach was amazing, the tools were super helpful. I can't say enough good things about it. If you are struggling with chronic pain, give this a try. You won't be disappointed.
Lin Health teaches those at their most vulnerable point how powerful they really are. Your brain is a powerful organ...it can make you feel sick, and it can make you feel well. Lin guides you back to a healthier "you." Everyone in that company is interested in you feeling better and doing better at all costs.
My entire experience with Lin was so helpful! It was easy to navigate and full of information. I will definitely recommend Lin to anyone needing support! Thank you Lin!
First, it educates you on the new mind/body teachings. Then they provide exercises for those teachings to become your new habits. Everyone associated with the group is so nice and supportive. They are truly committed to getting each patient better. I highly recommend it to anyone stuck in chronic pain!
I can’t say enough about my experience 👍 I worked with Hunter… he was most helpful & compassionate. I had TMS several years ago related to lower spine displacement. For me: Pain…. Is a telephone that won’t stop ringing until I stop & address my internal dis-ease. Recovery is a multifactorial process of letting go & building a strong-healthy mind-body-spirit 🌷
My coach has been extremely insightful and supportive. The learning materials are also key to changing your mindset and rewiring your brain. I appreciate Lin Health so much!
Lin Health is the best healthcare company I have ever had the pleasure of using. Lin GENUINELY cares about your well-being and is willing to bend over backward to get you what you need to become a healthier YOU. The coaches and health professionals invest in you getting better. Lin Health is by far the smartest decision I have made for myself!
My Personal Story
I spent many years working as a pelvic floor physical therapist searching for the missing link to my patient's pain stories. Meeting them with compassion and empathy, and yet feeling unable to best guide them on their journey. That all changed when I was introduced to a brain first approach to pain and pain reprocessing therapy. The integration of the mind and the body is beautiful, chaotic, unique, and so interconnected I wonder how I could have considered them separate from each other for so long.
