Why Lin works?

Recent breakthroughs in pain science have led to a new understanding of chronic pain. Lin’s brain-based approach helps you reset the volume of your pain signaling system to teach your brain new ways to process and respond to pain.

90% of Lin members report reduced pain, improved sleep, and coping better with pain flare ups.

We help people with a range of conditions, such as chronic back pain, CRPS, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel, migraines, neck pain, POTS, repetitive strain injury, TMJ, and more.

How it works?

Total support for a life beyond pain

Brain-based methodology

Your step-by-step journey is built on clinically proven methodologies of neuroscience education, association rebuilding, and trigger reduction to reduce painful sensations.

After you complete a health assessment, you’ll speak with a licensed medical provider who will assess whether your pain is appropriate for the Lin program.

Dedicated pain recovery coach

You will be matched with a trained pain recovery coach who supports you every step of the way, via live calls and messaging.

Your coach will guide you through lessons, help prioritize your next steps, and make sure you’re getting the most out of your pain recovery plan.

Pain recovery program

The Lin program includes models designed to help you understand pain & recovery, shift cognitive & behavioral patterns, address pain triggers, and replace pain with positivity, resilience, and self-care.

Developing these practices are vital tools for rewiring your nervous system to reclaim your life from pain.

It sounds like you have really turned a corner, Marie! Tell me more about the mindset shift you mentioned.

Coach Jordan

My new perspective is, this is my brain's language and way of giving me biofeedback. Sometimes I just say, "thanks for the feedback but I got this.”

Marie

Pain reduction guarantee

We understand that you have likely spent a good deal of time and money on all kinds of things that haven’t helped to reduce your pain for the long term. We’re so confident that we can help you reclaim your life from pain that we’re willing to guarantee it - or your money back.

Recovery Stories

From an early age, I was always active, playing tennis and other sports. Out of nowhere, in my late 30s, I started having symptoms, and my body was always sore. Lin brought it all together for me. I have been able to achieve so much more in my life thanks to Lin

Recovery Stories

I lived with fibromyalgia and other symptoms for 25 years. I wouldn't describe it as a life or living. A hug hurt, smiling hurt. Since I discovered Lin and started a brain-focused approach, I have a life, and it is full. I can smile. I can accept a hug, and it doesn't hurt.

Recovery Stories

Meeting people that understand what chronic pain is and learning that it is my primary diagnosis has changed my life and brought a whole new level of access to my life that was simply unavailable to me before. Now, I’m back in my music studio, taking my dog for walks, I’m back to exercising and enjoying my life.

Recovery Stories

Just six months ago, I was lost in pain. I was living in fear. I was afraid to wear certain shoes and afraid to drive my wife's car because I thought it would exacerbate the pain. I was constantly afraid to move because I thought I might hurt myself. It was no way to live.

Dan

Recovery Stories

“I was constantly preoccupied with worrying about my pain. I felt like I wasn’t living my life because I was either in pain or worried that I would be in pain. Since I started my program with Lin, I feel so supported, and the puzzle pieces keep coming together. It has been amazing. I don’t have pain anymore.”

How is Lin different from everything else out there?

Most people struggle to get out of chronic pain because:

  • They don’t have access to the most current, evidence-based treatments
  • They don’t have the support they need
  • They don’t have a plan to move forward

Lin’s pain recovery program is a step-by-step journey that incorporates neuroscience education and behavioral health therapies specific to pain recovery. Additionally, we offer a 1:1 consult with a  Lin medical professional who knows the world of brain-first treatment in and out! We provide one-on-one coaching with live meetings and unlimited messaging to help support you as you work the program and make adjustments as needed.

Do you know of any other online program that does all that?

Lin pain recovery coaches each have different training backgrounds—including physical therapy, psychology, public health, education, and nutrition—and therefore have several different certifications and qualifications. Regardless of your coach’s prior experience, all Lin pain recovery coaches complete a rigorous training program to receive their Lin Coaching Certification before working with our members.

Additionally, our coaches meet weekly in small consultation groups with our clinical staff. This means that behind every Lin coach is the shared wisdom of a panel of doctors, physical therapists, and psychologists with deep expertise in pain science and treatment and decades of experience.

Does Lin take insurance?

We are currently covered by select major providers in Texas, Colorado, and Maine! We are working on getting more coverage. We do, however, accept FSA/HSA payments in all 50 states.

What’s the science behind Lin’s approach?

Lin treats chronic pain using a brain-based approach. We draw upon psychology, neuroscience, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT™), Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

The brain-based approach is like a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to pain management. It tackles pain from different angles, including physical, psychological, and emotional aspects. By using scientific knowledge about the connection between the brain and physical pain signals, the approach aims to change these signals over time. Basically, it's like training your brain to think differently about pain, and it can help reverse the cycle of pain.

When you experience chronic pain, it's not just a physical problem. The biopsychosocial approach understands that chronic pain involves a complicated interplay between your brain, nervous system, and body. Our approach educates people with chronic pain about patterns and habits that could be making their pain worse, and teaches them new patterns and habits that can help break the cycle of pain.

It has helped millions of people alleviate their physical pain, and it could be the key to finding relief from yours.
